New Market – Mrs. Opal Sayler, 86 of New Market, died at 12:25 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health about three months. Mrs. Sayler born in Tippecanoe County, she had lived most of her life in the New Market area. In 1912 she was married to Walter L. Sayler who died several years ago. She was a member of the New Market United Methodist Church, Woman’s Club and Senior Citizens. Surviving are three sons, Robert Sayler of Rt. 7, Crawfordsville; and Charles and Ralph Sayler, both of New Market; and one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Mason of Sanford, Fla.

Mrs. Opal Sayler – Friends may call after noon Sunday at Powers Funeral Home, New Market. Service there at 2 p.m. Monday the Rev. Dale Payne officiating. Interment Indian Creek Cemetery. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. – kbz
